ABOUT LAWGENT
Lawgent is a new-generation legal and regulatory advisory firm built around artificial intelligence, technology law, and compliance. We work as an integrated part of our clients' teams — helping organisations navigate the EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA, and the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape around AI and digital business.
We are part of Nordic Investin Group, an international business group of 50+ professionals operating across AI, technology, education, finance, legal services, and sustainability.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The EU AI Act is the largest regulatory shift in a generation. Organisations across Europe are navigating it largely without guidance. Lawgent exists to change that — and we are now assembling the team that will make it happen. By the end of this year, our ambition is to have at least ten legal professionals operating across multiple European markets. This is a founding-team opportunity.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- EU AI Act gap assessments, risk classification, and compliance roadmaps for clients across sectors
- GDPR, data protection, and the intersection of privacy with AI systems
- DORA and NIS2 advisory for financial and critical-infrastructure clients
- AI governance frameworks, policies, and internal control documentation
- Commercial contracts for AI products, SaaS, and technology transactions
- Corporate and regulatory matters across the broader NIG group and its clients
- Client training, seminars, and thought leadership — we put lawyers in front of rooms
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A law degree (juristexamen or equivalent from any EU jurisdiction)
- Newly qualified, in training, or experienced — what matters is ambition, not years
- Fluent in English; Swedish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or other European languages are a strong advantage
- Genuine interest in technology, AI regulation, and how law shapes business
- Commercial mindset — you understand that legal work creates value, not just manages risk
- Self-starter who can work independently across a distributed, pan-European team
