Job Description
Job Purpose Birla Copper, Indrad, a greenfield manufacturing project of Hindalco Industries Ltd., is establishing a Copper Foil Manufacturing Facility to cater to the rapidly growing Lithium-Ion Battery market.
Phase I of the project will have an installed production capacity of 3.5 KTPA . The plant will utilize advanced Chinese and Japanese technologies , incorporating global best practices in process efficiency, product quality, and operational excellence.
The facility will manufacture
Electro Deposited Copper Foil
, a critical component used as the anode current collector in
Lithium-Ion Batteries
for electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage systems (ESS), and consumer electronics.
To assist in stores and inventory management matching business requirement and adhering to statutory, HSE and Quality certification compliances
- To verify incoming and outgoing materials used by contractors and gate pass for incoming and outgoing materials sent for job work
- To facilitate scrap receipt, storage and disposal
- To supervise codification of all materials and services procured
Job Challenges
- Manage space constraint for storage of material and uncertain consumption pattern poses a challenge to inventory management.
- Adhere to stringent safety and environmental norms, statutory regulations and licensing requirements limit options of storage containers and stacking patterns.
- Supervising receipt and issue at stores at multiple locations across the plant
