Lead Azure DevOps /SRE Engineer

About the Job

We're hiring a Senior Lead – Azure DevOps / SRE Engineer to own architecture delivery across our Azure estate leading AKS platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform \& Ansible), Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and release management/SRE practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready platforms from architecture designs (security, networking, identity)
• Design, operate, and scale AKS clusters (upgrades, hardening, workload isolation)
• Build IaC frameworks using Terraform and Ansible
• Engineer multi-stage Azure DevOps pipelines with approval gates and rollback patterns
• Own release management — planning, promotion, verification, rollback readiness
• Automate workflows using Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Support Linux and Windows Server environments
• Define SLIs/SLOs, lead incident response and postmortems

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on AKS production experience
• Expert-level Terraform and Azure DevOps pipeline engineering
• Strong Ansible, Docker, and Helm experience
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Linux and Windows Server operations

Desirable

• Observability/monitoring at scale
• Experience in regulated environments
• CKA / Terraform Associate / MS DevOps Engineer Expert certifications
