**Role Overview**
We are hiring Lawyers to evaluate AI outputs related to legal reasoning, case analysis, contract review, and legal research. In this role, you will apply structured rubrics to assess legal accuracy and contribute to AI model improvement on legal tasks. The ideal candidate has practicing experience and rigorous legal reasoning.
**Key Responsibilities**
\- Evaluate AI\-generated legal analysis, case briefs, and contract review.
\- Apply structured rubrics to assess legal accuracy, citations, and reasoning.
\- Identify factual errors, hallucinated citations, and legal reasoning gaps.
\- File clean evaluation tickets with clear written justification.
\- Partner with legal and product teams on quality criteria.
\- Contribute to rubric design for specific legal practice areas.
**Required Skills \& Qualifications**
\- JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
\- 2\+ years of legal practice experience.
\- Active bar admission or recent bar admission in good standing.
\- Familiarity with at least one major practice area.
\- Clear written communication for legal writing and analysis.
\- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
\- Practice experience at a law firm, in\-house counsel, or government legal role.
\- Experience evaluating AI or LLM output quality.
\- Specialization in corporate, litigation, IP, regulatory, or transactional law.
\- Background in legal research and writing.
\- Familiarity with legal tech and e\-discovery platforms.
