**Position Overview** Gemean is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Lawyer to support legal advisory, investigations, and compliance initiatives across client engagements. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance, conducting research, and supporting case strategy across a range of matters including regulatory inquiries, disputes, and internal investigations. You will work closely with forensic, compliance, and data teams to interpret complex information and ensure legally sound outcomes. This position plays a key role in mitigating legal risk and supporting effective decision\-making in high\-stakes environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide legal advice and support across investigations, disputes, and regulatory matters * Conduct legal research and analysis on applicable laws, regulations, and case precedents * Draft, review, and manage legal documents including notices, agreements, and reports * Support internal and external investigations by assessing legal exposure and risk * Collaborate with forensic, compliance, and data teams to interpret findings and build case strategies * Assist in managing regulatory inquiries, audits, and enforcement actions * Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions * Maintain accurate documentation and case records to support defensibility * Engage with clients and stakeholders to communicate legal positions and recommendations * Stay updated on evolving legal frameworks, regulatory developments, and industry best practices **Required Qualifications and Skills** * Proven experience in legal advisory, litigation, regulatory compliance, or investigative roles * Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; LLM is advantageous * Strong understanding of legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles * Experience supporting investigations, disputes, or compliance\-related matters * Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in time\-sensitive environments * Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment * Clear communication skills with the ability to work across legal, compliance, and technical teams **Additional Preferred Qualifications and Skills** * Experience working in forensic, eDiscovery, financial crime, or regulatory environments preferred * Familiarity with cross\-border legal matters and multi\-jurisdictional regulations * Exposure to data privacy laws and digital evidence handling is advantageous * Relevant certifications or bar admissions in applicable jurisdictions are beneficial **About Gemean** Gemean is a global leader in forensic investigations, electronic discovery, and data analytics.
