**Associate Lawyer, Family Law**
**The Riley Divorce \& Family Law Firm**
is a growing boutique firm dedicated exclusively to family law. We are seeking a
**Family Law Associate**
to join our collaborative and supportive team in a
**remote role**
, with
**occasional travel to Ottawa courthouses and surrounding area as required**
.
**What You’ll Do**
* Managing client cases and provide legal representation
* Works in partnership with law clerks to ensure efficient case preparation and high\-quality client service
* Advise clients on separation, divorce, parenting, and support matters
* Draft pleadings, agreements, and related legal documents
* Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances
* Maintain a target of
**25 billable hours per week**
* Stay current with Ontario family law legislation and best practices
**What We’re Looking For**
* Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
* Ideally 3–5 years of family law or related litigation experience
* Strong advocacy, communication, and organizational skills
* Work independently in a remote environment
* Ability to
**travel for in\-person courthouse appearances as required**
* Proficiency with legal practice management software

**Salary**
The salary for this Associate Lawyer, Family Law role is determined by experience and qualifications, with an anticipated base range of approximately $100,000 to $150,000 per year for a candidate based in Ontario. The final offer will be determined by level of experience, call date, and demonstrated expertise.
