Job Description
Position: Legal Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20 - $40/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, professionally structured legal documents with textual analysis, tables, charts, or diagrams.
- Ensure all shared materials are original and not sourced from the internet or generated synthetically.
- Demonstrate deep legal analysis, issue spotting, and technical depth through submissions.
- Contribute a mix of document types and lengths, ideally ranging from 10 to 100 pages.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and awareness of privilege in all materials and communications.
- Participate in feedback cycles to clarify content or enhance document utility for AI model training.
Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in document drafting and legal analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in producing high-quality legal documents, such as memos, case briefs, contracts, or policy analyses.
- Strong legal writing, with proven ability to articulate complex legal concepts accurately and clearly.
- Experience incorporating tables, diagrams, or other modalities into legal documents.
- Keen awareness of confidentiality obligations, privilege, and data privacy in legal practice and document sharing.
