Job Description
We are looking for an L1 Support Engineer with DevOps exposure who can support day\-to\-day technical operations, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist in maintaining stable production and staging environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem\-solving, has strong foundational technical knowledge, and wants to grow further in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will work closely with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure smooth system operations and timely issue resolution. Key Responsibilities * Monitor applications, servers, and infrastructure environments * Handle L1 support tickets and provide timely issue resolution or escalation * Perform basic troubleshooting related to Linux servers, applications, networking, and deployments * Monitor logs, alerts, and incidents to identify system issues proactively * Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities under senior guidance * Assist in managing cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) * Support Docker/containerized application environments * Coordinate with development teams for bug tracking and issue resolution * Maintain proper documentation for incidents, fixes, and operational procedures * Assist in uptime monitoring and system health checks * Support production, staging, and testing environments * Participate in shift rotations or on\-call support if required **Qualifications \& Skills** * 1–3 years of experience in Technical Support, System Support, or DevOps Support roles * Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command\-line operations * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP * Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows * Exposure to Docker and containerized environments * Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, SSL, ports) * Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools is a plus * Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python is preferred * Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools * Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills * Good communication and coordination abilities * Willingness to learn and grow in DevOps and cloud operations **Preferred Skills** * Exposure to Kubernetes environments * Understanding of Git/GitHub/GitLab workflows * Experience supporting SaaS applications * Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog * Understanding of incident management processes What Success Looks Like * Timely resolution and escalation of support tickets * Stable monitoring and operational support of systems * Reduced downtime and faster issue response * Accurate documentation and operational coordination * Continuous improvement in troubleshooting and DevOps capabilities
