About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join a growing commercial team within the specialty pharmaceutical sector. This field-based role will focus on developing strategic customer partnerships, driving commercial performance, and delivering value across key healthcare stakeholders within Sweden.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing territory and account plans, identifying business opportunities, and building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve territory sales objectives and market share targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts and territories.
  • Analyse territory performance, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy.
  • Adapt customer engagement approaches to different stakeholder groups and decision-making processes.
  • Support regional market access initiatives and tender planning activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Present complex scientific and product-related information to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, treatment pathways, and healthcare structures.
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to deliver commercial objectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products, services, and educational materials to customers.
  • Manage customer issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, account updates, and performance reporting using key account metrics.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with biologics, and/or immunology products.
  • Experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales.
  • Proven stakeholder management and matrix-working experience.
  • Previous experience as a Key Account Manager within relevant specialty therapy areas.
  • Strong understanding of the Swedish healthcare system and tender processes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience within rheumatology and/or gastroenterology therapeutic areas.

Skills \& Competencies:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and account management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate scientific information effectively.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally.
  • High level of business acumen, planning, and organisational skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Marketing, Sales, Pharmacy, Nursing, or another relevant scientific discipline.

Languages:

  • Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
