Job Description
**Position Summary:** The role is responsible for fostering strong relationships with the customer acquisition team to enhance collaboration and drive business results. It involves managing the full spectrum of sales and distribution operations, including the monitoring and execution of sales strategies to achieve organizational targets. The position also focuses on developing and expanding the Modern Trade business within the assigned geography, ensuring sustainable growth. Additionally, the role requires strict adherence to established ways of working, with a strong emphasis on implementing company guidelines and ensuring full compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and analyze competitor activities, providing actionable insights to stay competitive while ensuring adherence to analysis policies. * Evaluate and manage customers’ financial health to maintain profitability, in line with financial compliance standards. * Conduct regular market visits to understand on\-ground realities and implement corrective actions with customers and internal teams. * Develop and execute channel activity plans aligned with business objectives and company policies. * Approve and manage promotional activities, including discounts and special campaigns, ensuring policy compliance. * Update and track the monthly business plan to ensure alignment, progress, and strategic consistency. * Monitor stock and sales performance for Getz Life brands, sharing insights with relevant teams for informed decision\-making. * Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders for annual negotiations and business reviews, ensuring strategic alignment. * Implement and track KPIs in coordination with Head of Modern Trade and Trade Category teams to drive performance and accountability. * Deliver sales, growth, and profitability targets with disciplined execution and compliance. * Act as Area Lead for Modern Trade support and queries within the assigned geography. * Drive distributor performance to achieve strategic business objectives while maintaining operational discipline. * Enforce ways of working and ensure strong in\-store execution, including planogram compliance, shelf availability, and share of shelf as per agreed guidelines. **Qualifications, Experience \& Key Skills:** * Must be a graduate (Master’s preferred) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in sales operations and trade management. * Strong knowledge of RTM, Account Management, distributor management, and key sales KPIs. * Sound understanding of account management principles. * Effective time and priority management skills. * Strong negotiation capabilities. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills, particularly in fast\-paced environments. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities. * Experience in sales forecasting and planning. * High level of customer orientation. * Proficiency in MS Office applications.
