Job Description
**Job Title:**
Key Account Manager \- Foodservice \- Coffee Chains
**Reports To:**
COO
**Status:**
Salary, Exempt
**General Responsibilities:**
* The following are the key responsibilities of the Key Account Manager, though other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
* Develop and maintain relationships with food service distributors, brokers, and operators to promote and sell our products.
* Travel to customer sites to build relationships and promote company products
* Prospect new large volume customers and identify opportunities for product placement and distribution.
* Develop and manage a broker network
* Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and meet company objectives.
* Negotiate pricing and promotional activities
* Provide product training and support to customers, including conducting product demonstrations and providing technical assistance.
* Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services.
* Stay up\-to\-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to inform sales strategies and product development.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities
* Work closely with our marketing and product development teams to provide feedback and insights from the field.
* Other duties as assigned

**Competencies Required/Preferred:**
**Required:**
* 5\-years or more experience in Foodservice sales
* Familiarity and developed relationships with large operators in Florida
* Ability to troubleshoot problems
* Knowledge of food safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
* Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship\-building skills.
* Proficiency in using Gmail \& Google Suite Apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
* Time management and organizational skills
* Detail\-oriented and can efficiently multitask
* Currently, live or willing to relocate within driving distance to Broward County,
* Florida preferred but not required
**Preferred:**
* Currently residing in Florida as you will be meeting with customers in the area.
**Education and Experience Required:**
* College diploma or equivalent and/or related experience and/or training.
**Vehicles or Moving Equipment Driven as Part of Job:**
* Yes, occasional travel may require rental car usage.
* Travel will mostly be in the Southeast United States
