Key Account Manager (Central or East)
A high-growth beverage company is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive retail expansion and revenue growth across the Central and/or Eastern United States. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing brand in one of the most exciting categories in grocery and help build the next phase of the business alongside a lean, entrepreneurial team.
This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives in an emerging brand environment, enjoys building relationships from the ground up, and has experience managing regional grocery accounts, brokers, and distributor partners.
What You'll Do

Own and grow regional retail accounts across grocery, natural, and specialty channels throughout the Central and Eastern U.S.
- Develop and execute account growth plans to increase distribution, ACV, velocity, and revenue
- Lead line reviews, promotional planning, innovation sell-in, and new item presentations with key retail partners
- Build compelling customer presentations using syndicated data and category insights
- Drive new business development with targeted regional grocery accounts
- Manage broker relationships and field execution partners to ensure strong retail performance
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams

Own forecasting, sales planning, trade spend management, and performance tracking for assigned accounts
- Travel regularly
for retailer meetings, market visits, and industry events
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience, preferably within beverage

Experience managing regional grocery accounts and developing customer growth strategies
- Strong relationships across Midwest and/or Northeast retail channels preferred

Experience working with UNFI, KeHE, brokers, and merchandising partners
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and selling skills
- Ability to build customer decks and leverage syndicated data to influence decision-making
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with limited resources
- Experience with emerging, startup, or growth-stage brands strongly preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $115,000 - $140,000
- Bonus: 20% - 25%

Location
Candidates should be located within the Central or Eastern United States, with preference given to those based in the Midwest or Northeast.
