The position oversees all accounting positions (accounts payable, export, reconciliation etc.) and responds to issues and questions. * Timely and accurate processing of AP invoices in line with company policies * Ensuring invoices are posted to the correct GL accounts and supported with proper documentation * Regular vendor reconciliations and timely resolution of discrepancies * Timely and planned vendor payment processing in accordance with agreed terms * Accurate recording and monitoring of prepayments, including proper amortization schedules * Proper accounting and maintenance of fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation * Timely posting of journal entries (accruals, prepayments, and adjustments) with adequate support * Adherence to month\-end closing timelines and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls **YOUR TALENT:** Education: * Professional Degree / Certification (e.g., CA / ACCA / CPA / MBA in Finance) Experience: * Experience in Finance / Accounting role preferably within retail or eCommerce environments Capabilities: * Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and General Accounting processes * Knowledge of prepayments accounting and amortization principles * Experience in fixed asset accounting and register maintenance * Good understanding of month\-end close procedures and journal entry preparation * Ability to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (IFRS) * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high\-volume transaction environments * Ability to work with ERP systems and Excel for reconciliations and reporting * Strong coordination skills with vendors and internal finance stakeholders PUMA supports over 21,000 employees across 120\+ countries.
