Junior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer

Junior DevOps \& Infrastructure Engineer Location: DHA Phase 6 Lahore Experience: 1\-2 Years Job Type: Full\-time Onsite We are hiring a Junior DevOps \& Infrastructure Engineer who is eager to build, automate, and improve systems. This role combines: * DevOps (primary focus) * Systems Administration * On\-Prem IT \& Infrastructure You will work on real\-world infrastructure for internal systems and client projects, while also supporting office IT operations when required. **Key Responsibilities** **DevOps \& Cloud (Primary Focus)** * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.) * Assist in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) * Work with containerized environments (Docker, basic Kubernetes) * Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions * Research and implement tools (e.g., SonarQube, Trivy, etc.) * Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and security **Systems Administration** * Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu) * Perform updates, backups, and system monitoring * Troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues * Work with services, logs, and system performance **IT \& On\-Prem Infrastructure** * Handle employee IT support when needed (Windows, Linux, macOS) * Set up and configure laptops, workstations, and devices * Manage office network basics (switches, routers, cabling) * Maintain on\-prem servers and hardware * Ensure systems are reliable and ready for use **Automation \& Improvements** * Identify inefficiencies in workflows and systems * Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShell * Suggest and implement improvements across the infrastructure **Candidate Requirements** **Must\-Have:** * Basic experience or strong interest in DevOps / Cloud / Systems * Comfortable working with Linux (Ubuntu preferred) * Understanding of: * Git * CI/CD concepts * Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.) * Willingness to handle both DevOps and IT responsibilities * Strong problem\-solving mindset **Nice\-to\-Have:** * Experience with Docker or Kubernetes * Exposure to AWS / GCP / Azure * Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) * Knowledge of security tools (Trivy, SonarQube) * Personal projects / homelab setups **What We’re Looking For** * Someone who takes ownership, not just completes tasks * Curious and eager to learn beyond assigned work * Interested in becoming a DevOps engineer long\-term * Comfortable handling IT tasks as part of the role * Proactive in identifying and solving problems
