Our client WaterQo Pvt Ltd is looking for a Junior Accountant \- Financial Reporting \& Bookkeeping in Lahore WaterQo Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by managing financial reporting, handling accounts payable and receivable, and performing accurate bank reconciliations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations. The Assistant Accountant will assist with invoice processing, bookkeeping, and provide support in tax preparation activities, working closely with senior accountants to contribute to accurate and timely financial information. This position requires at least one year of relevant experience and strong communication skills to effectively report financial data within the organization. The Assistant Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the companys financial records. Responsibilities include careful data entry, record keeping, and supporting the finance team in regular audits and financial analysis. The role demands a solid foundation in accounting principles gained through a bachelors degree in accounting or finance and at least two years of hands\-on experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently without managing a team. A commitment to upholding company financial policies and ensuring compliance with applicable laws is essential. **Responsibilities** * Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. * Manage accounts payable and receivable operations, processing invoices and ensuring timely payments and collections. * Conduct bank reconciliations to verify accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. * Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording daily transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining organized financial records. * Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to record, analyze, and report financial information efficiently. * Support tax preparation and filing processes by compiling necessary documentation and assisting with calculations. * Maintain thorough and accurate data entry to support financial audits and reporting requirements. * Collaborate with the finance team to assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. * Communicate financial information clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders as required. * Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across all accounting activities.
