**The Role**
We are open to appointing this role at different levels, depending on the experience and capability of the successful candidate – you could be junior, mid\-level, or senior.
The opportunity is for an International Sales Manager on a 6‑month fixed‑term maternity cover contract to support the continued growth of Silver Cross across key international markets.
This role plays a vital part in driving and maintaining the commercial development of the Silver Cross brand in Australia and the United States, while contributing to the wider international sales strategy. In addition to sales leadership, the role has a strong international distribution focus, working closely with overseas partners on forecasting, shipping arrangements and containerised orders to ensure effective delivery into market.
Working collaboratively with internal teams and international distributors, the successful candidate will help ensure strong commercial performance, operational continuity and consistent brand representation throughout the maternity cover period.
While this is a fixed‑term opportunity, Silver Cross is a growing business, and as our global presence continues to expand, there may be longer‑term opportunities in the future, dependent on business needs.
**What We’re Looking For**
We’re keen to hear from sales professionals at different stages of their careers who are interested in a fixed‑term international opportunity. You may currently hold a title such as Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager, National Account Manager or similar, but we are most interested in your experience, capability and approach.
This role can suit someone earlier in their career, who is confident managing international sales administration, international distribution, customer communication and performance reporting, as well as a more experienced commercial professional who can step in and build on existing momentum across our international markets. A strong understanding of international distribution, including managing FOB/EX\-Works terms, shipping processes and containerised order flows, is essential to the role.
Essential experience:
• International sales or account management experience, working with distributors, agents and/or key retail partners
• Commercial decision‑making, with an understanding of balancing short‑term sales performance and long‑term brand value
• Exposure to B2B and B2C environments, either directly or through partners
• Building trusted, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external customers
• Confident use of Excel and Microsoft Office for forecasting, reporting, and analysing with corrective action plans
The successful candidate will have ability to work autonomously across time zones, an appreciation for cultural differences in international markets, and flexibility to travel internationally where required.
Depending on experience, this role may also suit someone who has worked more broadly across international markets \- contributing to sales strategy, managing distributor performance, supporting premium brand execution in store, or partnering closely with Marketing and Ecommerce teams.
More experienced candidates may bring a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the confidence to influence international growth plans, support market expansion, and act as a senior commercial voice with key partners.
Experience using Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be useful but is not essential.

**Location**
Remote working in the UK, with occasional travel to our Head Office near Skipton.
