Human Resources Manager/Director

Candidate must come from a Chemical Manufacturer with the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and be a key part of the Senior Management Team. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Experience in dealing with various applicable government agencies for regulatory compliance is a must have for this position. **Responsibilities** Recruit and Onboard new hires, Conduct Performance Management, and Manage Payroll and Benefits for this 400 person site. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree or relevant experience * 8\+ years' experience in Human Resources, Perform all HR Generalist duties as a hands\-on participant * Work with the Senior Management Team on developing a strategic Human Resources plan that will enhance the Company’s competitiveness * A strong business acumen is essential * Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability of employee retention * Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees * Be present on the factory floor and build relationships to remain accessible to all employees
