Job Description
We are seeking a Team Member Relation Consultant 2 to support a leading hospital organization on a 4\-month remote assignment. This is a senior\-level role responsible for conducting HR investigations from intake through resolution, managing unemployment claims and Equifax verifications, and applying employment law knowledge to guide compliant outcomes. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who can independently manage complex investigations while maintaining thorough documentation in ServiceNow. Key Responsibilities * Lead and conduct HR investigations from beginning to end, including intake, witness interviews, evidence gathering, analysis, findings documentation, and recommended outcomes * Process and manage unemployment claims from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate responses to state agencies * Handle Equifax employment and income verification requests in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements * Apply knowledge of federal and state employment law to guide investigation processes and ensure legally compliant outcomes * Utilize ServiceNow to track, document, and manage all investigation cases, claims activity, and team member relations inquiries * Partner with legal counsel, HR leadership, and management to address complex employee relations matters * Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with clear findings, analysis, and recommendations for corrective action * Advise managers and HR partners on employment law considerations, policy interpretation, and best practices for team member relations * Identify patterns and trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive strategies to mitigate risk * Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure all investigations are conducted in an impartial and professional manner **Required Qualifications** * Proven experience conducting HR investigations from beginning to end, including intake, interviews, documentation, findings, and resolution * Demonstrated experience with Equifax Workforce Solutions (The Work Number) for employment and income verifications * Direct experience processing and managing unemployment claims, including responding to state agency requests and attending hearings as needed * Working knowledge of federal and state employment law (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and applicable state statutes) * Proficiency in ServiceNow for case management and workflow tracking * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess evidence, identify issues, and draw well\-supported conclusions * Excellent written communication skills, particularly in drafting investigation reports and formal correspondence **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience in a healthcare or university environment * Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM\-CP, or SHRM\-SCP * Experience supporting employee relations in a large\-scale, multi\-site organization * Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and case management platforms beyond ServiceNow * Experience advising on performance management, workplace conduct, and policy enforcement
