Job Description
**Role Purpose** The People \& Culture Manager is responsible for leading all operational aspects of the People \& Culture function across a fast\-paced hospitality and restaurant business. This role ensures **flawless execution of payroll, HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes** , while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and service delivery across multiple restaurant units. The role is critical in ensuring operational stability, employee trust, and compliance with UAE labour regulations, while supporting corporate reporting requirements. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Payroll Ownership \& Control** * Own the end\-to\-end payroll process across all restaurant locations * Consolidate and validate all payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, tips/service charge distribution where applicable, leave, new joiners, exits, salary changes) * Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with UAE labour law * Perform detailed pre\- and post\-payroll validation and reconciliation * Act as the main escalation point for payroll\-related issues **2\. People \& Culture Operations** * Oversee all HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle * Manage contracts, onboarding, transfers, and exits across all units * Ensure consistency and standardisation of HR processes across restaurants * Maintain accurate employee records and documentation * Ensure smooth and efficient employee lifecycle experience **3\. Compliance \& Immigration Coordination** * Ensure full compliance with UAE labour law and internal policies * Oversee and coordinate all immigration processes with the outsourced PRO provider * Track visa status, renewals, and regulatory deadlines to ensure zero compliance risk * Maintain audit\-ready HR documentation and employee files * Act as internal control point for all government\-related HR processes **4\. Process Excellence \& Operational Efficiency** * Design, implement, and continuously improve People \& Culture operational processes * Develop SOPs to standardise HR execution across restaurant operations * Identify inefficiencies and drive automation or simplification initiatives * Ensure alignment of HR operations with business needs in a high\-volume environment **5\. Data Accuracy \& Reporting** * Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data across systems * Provide accurate inputs for payroll, headcount, and workforce reporting * Assist in preparation of operational reports for leadership and HQ **6\. Team Leadership** * Lead and supervise a team of HR Executives * Allocate workload and ensure operational efficiency across all HR admin tasks * Train and coach team members on accuracy, compliance, and service standards * Ensure high responsiveness to business and employee needs **Experience** * 6–10 years of experience in HR operations and payroll * Strong experience in **hospitality / restaurant / multi\-unit operations environment (essential)** * Proven experience managing payroll in high\-volume, fast\-moving businesses * Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and immigration processes * Experience working with outsourced PRO providers **Skills** * Strong attention to detail and process discipline * High accountability and ownership mindset * Ability to operate under pressure and tight deadlines * Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills * Problem\-solving mindset with operational focus
