**About Preszler Injury Lawyers:** Preszler Injury Lawyers was established in 1959 by its founder, Robert P. Preszler. For over 60 years, Preszler Injury Lawyers has restricted its practice to claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, product liability, sexual assault, wrongful dismissal, accident benefits, disability claims and medical malpractice. Preszler Injury Lawyers only represents Plaintiffs. **Position Overview:** We’re hiring an HR Manager to help supplement our HR department. This is a hands\-on role for someone who’s organized, service\-oriented, and comfortable supporting both day\-to\-day HR operations and people initiatives in a fast\-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience in either legal or professional services. This role is meant to replace an existing vacancy. **Responsibilities:** * Support recruitment end\-to\-end: postings, screening, interview coordination, offers, and reference checks * Coordinate onboarding and offboarding (documentation, system access, checklists, and orientation) * Provide timely HR support to employees and managers (policy questions, forms, guidance, next steps) * Assist with performance management processes, documentation, and follow\-ups * Support employee relations matters by ensuring accurate documentation and escalating issues to the HR Manager as needed * Maintain HR records, trackers, and reporting with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail * Assist with benefits administration, leaves, and HR letters (employment, verification, etc.) * Help coordinate training, engagement initiatives, and internal communications * Contribute to policy updates and continuous improvement of HR processes **Qualifications:** * Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role * Working knowledge of Ontario employment standards and HR best practices * Strong communication and management skills * High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong discretion/confidentiality * Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines * Experience in legal or professional services is an asset * CHRP/CHRL (or in progress) is an asset This is a hybrid position, reporting to our Toronto office three times per week at minimum.
