Job Description
**Job Summary**
The HR Manager will oversee all human resource functions at the resort, ensuring smooth workforce operations, compliance with labour laws, and a positive employee experience. The role requires strong expertise in hospitality HR practices, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, and performance management.
**Key Responsibilities**
1\. Recruitment \& Staffing
* Manage end\-to\-end hiring for all departments (front office, housekeeping, F\&B, maintenance, etc.)
* Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs
* Conduct interviews, onboarding, and induction programs
2\. Employee Relations
* Act as a bridge between management and staff
* Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions
* Promote a positive work culture and high employee engagement
3\. Training \& Development
* Identify training needs and organise skill development programs
* Ensure hospitality standards and service quality training
* Conduct orientation for new hires
4\. Payroll \& Compliance
* Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
* Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, and statutory requirements
* Maintain employee records and HR documentation
5\. Performance Management
* Implement performance appraisal systems
* Support department heads in goal setting and evaluations
* Drive employee productivity and retention strategies
6\. Policy \& Administration
* Develop and implement HR policies aligned with resort operations
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
* Manage HR audits and reporting
**Key Requirements**
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* 2–8 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality/resort/hotel industry
* Strong knowledge of labour laws and compliance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle a diverse workforce and work in a dynamic environment
**Preferred Skills**
* Experience with HRMS systems
* Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
* High level of confidentiality and professionalism
