A well\-established, globally recognized manufacturing company is looking for a seasoned
**Human Resources Manager**
to serve as their sole HR leader across all Canadian operations.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR professional to own the full people function for a stable, long\-tenured organization \- with direct influence over culture, compliance, and workforce strategy from day one.
**About the Role**
Based out of a 24/7 manufacturing facility in Innisfail, AB, you will be the go\-to HR expert for Canada \- supporting four sites and over 200 employees across Alberta and Ontario. You'll report into senior HR leadership and work closely with plant management to drive results on the ground.
This isn't a support role. You'll be shaping how the organization attracts, develops, and retains talent while keeping everything compliant across multiple provinces.
**What You'll Be Doing**
* Acting as the trusted HR advisor to plant and operations leadership across Canadian sites
* Leading workforce planning, performance management, and succession initiatives
* Managing employee relations end\-to\-end \- from frontline hourly workers to salaried staff
* Owning Canadian employment law compliance across Alberta and Ontario
* Driving annual HR cycles: compensation reviews, benefits renewals, and disability management
* Coaching managers on leadership effectiveness and people practices
* Supporting organizational change and new HR program rollouts
* Representing the company within the local community
**What We're Looking For**
* 8\+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex environments
* Proven ability to work with blue\-collar, frontline workforces — not just management
* Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation across multiple provinces
* Someone who's comfortable being autonomous and making decisions without a large HR team around them
* Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* CHRP/CHRL is an asset, not a requirement
**Compensation \& Perks**
* Base salary: $115,000 – $125,000 depending on experience
* 15% annual performance bonus

This role is based on\-site in Innisfail, AB. Candidates located in Red Deer or surrounding areas are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates open to relocating will also be considered.
