Human Resources Manager

**About the Role** We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a London\-based school on a temporary, part\-time basis. This is an on\-site role for 3 days per week (with the possibility of additional days if required). The role is for an initial 4 to 5 month assignment, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate should be available to start as soon as possible. **Responsibilities** * The HR Manager will oversee the day\-to\-day delivery of HR services across the school, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. * The role involves ensuring adherence to employment legislation and school policies, maintaining accurate HR records, and providing guidance and support to managers and staff on HR\-related matters. * The postholder will also contribute to developing and implementing HR strategies that support the school’s values, culture, and operational goals. * Additional responsibilities include supporting payroll submissions (payroll is externally processed), ensuring accurate HR data management, and providing effective line management where required. **Qualifications** * Previous HR experience within a school environment * Strong knowledge and experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations * Proven experience in performance management, HR compliance, and policy implementation * Line management experience * Experience supporting payroll submissions and payroll processes * Highly IT literate with the ability to work confidently with HR systems * Excellent organisation, communication, and leadership skills * Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster a positive working environment * CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) preferred This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school HR professional looking for a flexible part\-time role. **Pay range and compensation package** £40 \- 45k pa FTE By applying to this role, you agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy and that we may contact you to provide you with services related to your job search.
