**Job Title: Human Resources Manager** **Job Type:**  Full\-Time, Permanent **Location:**  Onsite – Southwest Ottawa, ON **Salary Range:**  $80,000 – $100,000 per year **About the Opportunity** We are seeking a Human Resources Manager on behalf of our client, a well\-established organization located in Southwest Ottawa. This is a newly created role, established to support the continued growth of the organization and to strengthen HR structure, processes, and support for leadership and employees. This onsite position is responsible for leading all HR functions, with a strong focus on employee relations, workplace investigations, and WSIB administration. The role will also play a key part in building, implementing, and continuously improving HR processes, policies, and workflows while partnering closely with leadership to provide guidance, coaching, and practical HR solutions. **Key Responsibilities** **HR Leadership \& Process Development** * Partner directly with leadership to support HR initiatives and business needs * Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and workflows * Coach leaders on HR best practices, performance management, and employee relations * Ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application of HR programs and policies **Employee Relations Leadership** * Serve as the lead for all employee relations matters * Provide strategic and day\-to\-day guidance on performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution * Support leaders in managing complex and sensitive employee situations * Foster a respectful, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture **Workplace Investigations** * Lead and conduct workplace investigations, including harassment, misconduct, and policy violations * Ensure investigations are handled thoroughly, objectively, and in a timely manner * Provide recommendations and support resolution of issues **WSIB \& Health and Safety Coordination** * Act as the primary point of contact for all WSIB claims and related matters * Manage workplace injury reporting, claims administration, and return\-to\-work programs * Partner with internal stakeholders to support compliance with health and safety requirements **HR Operations \& Compliance** * Oversee HR operations in compliance with Ontario employment legislation * Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and employee documentation * Ensure accurate and confidential employee records management **Recruitment \& Talent Management** * Lead full\-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes * Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and hiring strategies * Support performance management and employee development initiatives **Compensation, Benefits \& HR Systems** * Administer compensation and benefits programs * Maintain and optimize HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now * Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness **Qualifications \& Experience** * Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a standalone or lead HR role * Demonstrated experience building and implementing HR processes and programs * Strong employee relations leadership experience * Proven experience conducting workplace investigations * Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and WSIB processes * Experience with ADP Workforce Now * Strong coaching, communication, and problem\-solving skills * CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset **Work Environment** This position is fully onsite and works closely with both non\-union and unionized employee groups. Experience working alongside unionized teams is considered an asset. **Compensation \& Transparency** The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 per year.
