**Job Title: HR Manager**
**Location:**

**Reports to:**
Director of HR
**Position Overview**
Sela is seeking a versatile
**HR Manager**
to serve as a strategic partner to the Director of HR. This role is a unique hybrid of
**Generalist HR Operations**
and
**Change Management**
. You will be responsible for the day\-to\-day health of our workforce while leading the "human side" of organisational shifts as we scale.
As we evolve, you will ensure that structural and cultural transitions are handled with empathy and clarity, bridging the gap between leadership’s strategic vision and the employee experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1\. Change Management \& Organisational Design**
* Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans for business initiatives, including restructuring, new system rollouts, or culture shifts.
* Work with the Director of HR to redefine roles, reporting lines, and team structures to ensure the business remains agile and "future\-ready."
* Monitor the "organisational pulse" during transition periods, using feedback loops to adjust strategies in real\-time.
**2\. Performance Management \& Development**
* Manage annual and mid\-year performance review cycles, ensuring feedback is constructive and results\-oriented.
* Identify training needs across departments and coordinate professional development workshops or leadership coaching.
* Coach Team Leads on leading through transition and handling difficult conversations with grace.
**3\. Employee Relations \& Policy**
* Act as the primary point of contact for all ER matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and absence management.
* Maintain an "open door" policy, serving as a trusted advisor to employees during periods of growth or shift.
* Ensure all HR policies and the Employee Handbook are up\-to\-date and strictly compliant with
**UK Employment Law**
.
**4\. Communication \& Culture**
* Draft transparent and empathetic internal communications regarding business changes to ensure consistency across the organisation.
* Ensure Sela’s core values are preserved and reinforced, even as operational structures evolve.
**5\. HR Operations \& Data**
* Manage company benefits programs (pension, healthcare, etc.).
* Maintain accurate employee records
* Provide the Director of HR with key "people metrics" (turnover, headcount, diversity) to inform strategic decision\-making.
**Qualifications \& Skills**
* **Experience:**
6\+ years in HR, with a significant focus on
**Change Management, Organisational Design, or HR Generalist**
roles in fast\-paced environments.
* **Legal Knowledge:**
Expert understanding of UK Employment Law (restructuring, consultations, and employee rights).
* **Communication:**
Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to deliver complex or tough news with high emotional intelligence (EQ).
* **Attributes:**
Resilience, discretion, and a commercial mindset—understanding that HR strategy must align with the business's bottom line.
