HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Director plays a critical role in strategically leading and managing all HR functions for Thélios USA/Barton Perreira. This role is pivotal in shaping people strategy, driving talent-centric solutions, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture. The HR Director will ensure alignment with organizational goals and LVMH HR priorities, reporting to the Head of Americas for Thélios USA/Barton Perreira and functionally to the Head of Human Resources for Thélios HQ.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership \& Business Partnership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive regional HR strategies that align with Thélios' business objectives and Group vision, supporting strategic growth through talent development, engagement, and retention.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and senior leaders, providing expert HR insights and recommendations to drive business growth, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead transformation and organizational initiatives, considering change readiness, business context, and cultural elements to support business evolution.
  • Contribute to broader strategic HR initiatives and regional integration efforts for new subsidiaries and acquisitions.

Talent Management \& Development:

  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of key HR cycles, including performance management (RISE), organizational reviews (OMR), and compensation planning (MBO, ICR), ensuring alignment with LVMH Group standards.
  • Implement robust talent review processes, succession planning, and career development initiatives to identify potentials, mitigate risks, and foster internal growth and cross-Maison mobility.
  • Design and deliver capability building programs that strengthen leadership and managerial skills, cultivating a strong coaching and feedback culture across all levels.
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to meet business needs, overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract top talent.

Employee Experience \& Culture:

  • Shape engagement approaches balancing global LVMH standards with local expectations, fostering a culture of proximity and high employee morale.
  • Design and implement comprehensive retention strategies that address diverse workforce needs and aspirations, promoting a positive employer-employee relationship.
  • Establish multi-channel feedback mechanisms to ensure employee voice is heard, enhancing transparency and engagement.
  • Champion and integrate diversity and inclusion into all HR practices and business decisions, cultivating an equitable and inclusive work environment.

HR Operations, Compliance \& Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing HR team, including direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Review, update, and ensure strict compliance with HR-related standards, policies, governmental laws, regulations, and LVMH Group guidelines.
  • Manage the annual headcount and HR budget, including labor costs, optimizing resource allocation, and providing insightful reports to HQ.
  • Analyze compensation data to develop and maintain a competitive total rewards strategy, overseeing payroll and employee benefits programs.
  • Oversee employee relations, resolving HR-related issues effectively to maintain a fair and supportive workplace.

SCOPE: Thélios USA, Thélios Mexico, Barton Perreira,

Profile Education \& Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus. Proven track record of 10+ years of relevant Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role. Hard Skills: HR Strategic Acumen: Proven expertise in HR strategy, workforce planning, organizational development, and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. Legal \& Compliance Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and ensuring strict compliance. Total Rewards Management: Strong command of compensation analysis, total rewards strategy, payroll, and benefits administration. Program \& Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR programs (e.g., performance cycles, talent reviews) and lead change initiatives. Business Insight: Exceptional business acumen to translate market dynamics and organizational needs into effective HR solutions. Soft Skills: Strategic \& Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically, anticipate future HR needs, solve complex problems, and leverage data for informed decisions. Inspiring Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Influential Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels.
