Job Description
**Position Summary** The HR Business Partner serves as a key member of the BICO US HR team, providing strategic and operational HR support primarily to the Biosero and Echo business units. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to deliver high\-quality HR services that support business objectives, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and promote positive employee experience. The position is responsible for executing core HR processes, advising leaders on employee matters, supporting talent and organizational initiatives, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies, and helping drive consistency in HR practices across the business units supported. **Why This Role Matters** This position plays an important role in ensuring Biosero and Echo have responsive, business\-focused HR support that helps leaders lead effectively, employees feel supported, and HR practices remain consistent, compliant, and aligned with BICO US priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** **HR Business Partnership** * Serve as the primary HR partner for designated client groups within Biosero and Echo. * Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to provide practical, business\-aligned HR guidance. * Support managers in addressing employee relations matters, performance concerns, team effectiveness, and organizational changes. **Employee Relations and Performance Support** * Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, corrective action, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns. * Coach managers on effective performance management practices, feedback, documentation, and employee development. * Support investigations and documentation related to employee concerns, ensuring timely, fair, and consistent handling. * Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, inclusion, and open communication. **HR Operations and Administration** * Manage and support key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, compensation changes, offboarding, and related documentation. * Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure HR data accuracy and integrity within HR systems. * Assist in maintaining employee records, organizational charts, and HR reports. * Help drive efficient, standardized HR processes and continuous improvement across supported business units. **Talent Acquisition and Talent Management** * Partner with Talent Acquisition specialist and hiring managers to support hiring activity, job descriptions, candidate evaluation, and offer processes. * Support onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience. * Contribute to talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives as needed. **Compensation, Policy, and Compliance Support** * Support the administration of compensation practices in alignment with internal equity, market considerations, and company guidelines. * Ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and programs. * Partner with leaders and internal HR stakeholders to support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. * Assist with audits, reporting, and other compliance\-related HR activities. **Change Management and Organizational Support** * Support organizational changes, restructuring efforts, and communication planning as needed. * Help leaders navigate change with clarity, consistency, and strong employee communication. * Contribute to HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, manager capability, and operational effectiveness. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. * 5\+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting managers and employees in a business partner or generalist capacity. * Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, and employment law. * Experience supporting multiple business units or client groups in a fast\-paced environment preferred. * Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. * Effective communication and relationship\-building skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or similar platforms preferred. * PHR, SPHR, certification is a plus. **Key Competencies** * Business partnership * Employee relations * Communication and collaboration * Compliance orientation * Problem\-solving and execution **This role works closely with:** * BICO US HR team * Biosero and Echo leadership teams * Employees across assigned business units * Talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and other HR/shared services partners * Legal, finance, and operational stakeholders as needed **QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED** Education / Work Experience * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four\-year college or university in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. * At least 5\+ years of Human Resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * SHRM and/or PHR and PHR\-CA certifications desired. Required Skills * Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate, communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization. * Excellent interpersonal skills, with significant comprehension of emotional intelligence to build healthy relationships at all levels of the organization. * High degree of professionalism, ethics and personal integrity to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to important information and documents. * Good time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems. * Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem\-solving skills a plus
