Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources and Operations Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Human Resources and Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and policy implementation. The role will also manage day-to-day operations such as coordinating with production and logistics, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with labor and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The manager will collaborate with leadership to align workforce planning with business goals, monitor HR and operational metrics, and implement best practices in people management and operational excellence. This position involves regular interaction with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure efficient workflows and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong HR management capabilities, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and policy implementation.
- Operations management skills, with experience in process optimization, coordination with production/logistics, and day-to-day plant or office operations.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, including labor laws, workplace safety standards, and HR documentation.
- People leadership skills, including team management, conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering an inclusive, respectful work environment.
- Analytical and organizational abilities, including data-driven decision-making, reporting on HR/operations metrics, and time management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in HR and operations management, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industry.
- Proficiency with HRIS tools, MS Office, and basic operations-related software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
