Job Description
**Do you enjoy working close to people and the business, and are you interested in a broad HR role where you take responsibility both for driving the people agenda and delivering it hands‑on in everyday work?** This is a combined and wide‑ranging HR role where you are responsible for HR, external payroll coordination, and selected office‑related tasks. You will also support the company’s culture and engagement work and be responsible for internal activities. The role is part of the extended management team, working closely with managers across the organization. **About the role** In this role, you will take overall ownership of the company’s people agenda and be responsible for translating people‑related priorities into well‑functioning, day‑to‑day ways of working. You will drive HR, payroll coordination, and related responsibilities in practice, ensuring structure, quality, and reliability across people processes. The role has a strong operational focus and suits someone who enjoys being hands‑on, close to the business, and responsible for making things work in everyday operations, while also contributing to long‑term people and culture development. **Key areas of responsibility** In this role, you will be responsible for: * Develop, implement, and continuously refine the company’s annual people plan. * Overall operational responsibility for HR across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and planning and execution of the annual HR cycle. * Acting as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, ensuring professional and consistent HR support * Own and develop the company’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), including compensation, benefits, and retention drivers. * Drive cultural initiatives and ensure that the company’s values are embedded in leadership behaviours, leadership development, people processes, and daily operations. * Work with employer branding and talent attraction initiatives and own the company’s learning and development strategy. * Responsibility for external payroll, acting as payroll controller and accountable owner towards the payroll provider, including requirements setting, quality control, and monthly approvals. The role also includes personal responsibility for handling monthly expense reimbursements. * Handling payroll‑related employee matters such as parental leave, sick leave, bonuses, and benefits in collaboration with external providers * Planning and coordinating internal activities and initiatives that support engagement and collaboration * Drive strategic work related to work environment and SHE to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace. * Ensure that HR policies, practices, and structures support business objectives while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations * Ownership of HR systems, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance and alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements. **Who we are looking for** We are looking for a hands‑on and reliable HR professional who enjoys a broad role with operational responsibility and ownership. You thrive in everyday HR work, are comfortable working independently, and like being close to both people and the business. You also enjoy coordinating internal activities and events and appreciate creating a workplace that encourages collaboration and a positive team spirit. **You have:** * A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources * Several years of experience from a broad and hands‑on HR role * Experience from working within biotech, life science, or the pharmaceutical industry, which is considered an advantage. * Experience of independently managing the payroll process or acting as the primary responsible person towards an external payroll provider, which is considered a strong advantage. * Independently owned and driven the full HR annual cycle, including planning, execution, and follow‑up of recurring HR activities. * Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively with employees, managers, and external partners * High integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive matters * A structured, self‑driven approach and the ability to take ownership in a role with broad responsibility * Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken **Interested?** Applications are submitted digitally via our website. **The application deadline is 24 May: however, selection will be conducted on an ongoing basis.** The selection will be based on both qualifications and personal suitability. **About Xbrane** Xbrane Biopharma AB is a pioneering Swedish biotech company dedicated to delivering high\-quality biosimilar drugs, affordable alternatives to existing biologic therapies.
