Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Newcastle Upon Tyne for an experienced HR Manager. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. Day-to-day tasks include managing employee onboarding, developing HR policies, administering benefits, conducting training programs, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The successful candidate will act as a key advisor to management and employees on HR matters while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in employee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance with employment regulations
- Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills to foster positive employee relations
- Proven ability to manage employee benefits, conduct trainings, and create engagement initiatives
- Organizational and strategic planning skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Professional certifications in HR (e.g., CIPD or SHRM) are advantageous
- Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or a 3PL environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
