**HR Generalist**
**6\-Month Contract \| Fraser Valley, BC \| CA$60,000 \- CA$70,000/year**
Miles HR is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced
**HR Generalist**
to join a well\-established, manufacturing company based in the Fraser Valley. This is a 6\-month contract position covering a leave. The ideal candidate will bring broad HR generalist experience as the sole HR professional supporting a team of 100\+ employees.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Reporting to VP Operations, the HR Generalist will manage the full scope of day\-to\-day human resources operations, with a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding. This is a highly varied, hands\-on role in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
· Manage the full\-cycle recruitment process and onboarding of new team members
· Develop recruitment and retention strategies to maintain desired headcounts
· Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and employment legislation
· Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and programs in accordance with BC employment standards, workers’ compensation, and OHS legislation
· Maintain employee documentation including discipline letters, performance reviews, and leaves of absence
· Coach employees and leaders on performance management, leadership, and collaboration
· Manage employee records and status changes in ADP Workforce Now, including time\-off coordination and payroll support
· Perform a broad range of HR administrative duties including timesheet approvals, benefits administration, medical leave, and employment verification letters
· Administer the employee offboarding process for terminations
· Support leadership in building a culture of trust, openness, and accountability
**QUALIFICATIONS \& REQUIREMENTS**
· Post\-secondary education in Human Resources with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
· Proven full\-cycle recruitment experience at all levels
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy, and sincerity
· Strong judgment, tact, and discretion with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
· Flexibility to engage with employees across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ADP Workforce Now experience is an asset
· Reliable personal transportation required (location is not served by public transit)
