HR Director

Robert Half is seeking a strategic and accomplished interim HR Director/ Manager / Consultant to lead the HR team for 8 people for our healthcare / non profit client. The ideal consultant will have proven leadership experience within healthcare settings and in\-depth expertise with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) human capital management solutions. This role requires proactive leadership in all HR functions while optimizing HRIS technology and ensuring compliance in a highly regulated industry. This role is onsite, located in Azusa, CA. Key Responsibilities: • Lead recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management initiatives • Oversee benefits administration, and compensation policies to ensure market competitiveness and compliance • Manage and optimize the UKG platform for HRIS functions including reporting, analytics, timekeeping, and talent management • Ensure HR policies adhere to healthcare industry in California standards and changing employment laws • Proven experience in an HR leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry. • In\-depth knowledge of California labor laws and healthcare regulations. • Proficiency in UKG Pro (Ultimate Kronos Group) for managing HR functions and analytics. • Strong background in employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation management. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and compliance programs. • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration. • Experience in managing HR operations in a highly regulated environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM\-SCP) is a plus.
