Housing Project Sign-Off Engineer (P.Eng.) – Remote (Ontario)

**About the Role** We are seeking a qualified **Housing Project Sign\-Off Engineer (P.Eng.)** to review, certify, and provide final engineering sign\-off for residential housing projects across Ontario. This is a fully remote position, ideal for an experienced engineer looking for flexible, high\-impact work in the housing sector. **Key Responsibilities** * Review architectural, structural, and civil design packages for residential projects * Provide professional engineering sign\-off in compliance with Ontario regulations * Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and municipal requirements * Coordinate with architects, designers, and project stakeholders * Identify risks, deficiencies, and compliance issues prior to approval * Stamp and seal drawings as required under Ontario regulations * Maintain proper documentation and professional records **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Active **P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)** * Minimum 5\+ years of experience in residential / housing projects * Strong understanding of the **Ontario Building Code (OBC)** * Experience with low\-rise and/or mid\-rise residential developments * Ability to independently review and certify engineering documents * Strong attention to detail and professional accountability * Excellent communication skills for remote coordination **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with multi\-unit residential or mixed\-use developments * Familiarity with municipal approval processes across Ontario * Previous experience in design review, compliance, or consulting roles
