Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple ILIF Hotels \& Resorts properties. This role ensures smooth hotel operations, exceptional guest experiences, efficient coordination across departments, effective property maintenance, inventory control, vendor management, and compliance with operational standards. The Operations Manager works closely with property teams and the corporate office to maintain service excellence, operational efficiency, and owner satisfaction across all assigned properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Hotel Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all assigned hotel and resort properties.
- Monitor guest check-ins, check-outs, occupancy status, and room readiness.
- Maintain operational discipline and hospitality service standards across properties.
- Inventory \& Front Office Coordination
- Review daily room inventory, arrivals, departures, and occupancy updates.
- Monitor operational updates shared by front office teams and property managers.
- Coordinate with the central reservations team regarding bookings, room allocations, and occupancy planning.
- OTA \& Guest Escalation Management
- Coordinate with OTA customer support teams regarding cancellations, refunds, modifications, and guest concerns.
- Resolve escalated guest complaints and service issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Housekeeping Operations
- Monitor housekeeping processes, cleanliness standards, and room readiness.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to company standards.
- Monitor staff grooming, uniforms, attendance, and discipline.
- Maintenance \& Property Upkeep
- Oversee maintenance activities related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, swimming pools, gardens, sewage, and drainage systems.
- Conduct regular reviews with property managers to improve maintenance standards and operational efficiency.
- Store \& Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and stock availability across all operational departments.
- Ensure accurate inventory records for kitchen supplies, raw materials, cleaning supplies, groceries, beverages, and guest amenities.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted operational support.
- Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Monitor service quality, vendor performance, and pending operational requirements.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding vendor payments and bill settlements.
- Team Management \& Coordination
- Conduct regular meetings with property managers and operational teams.
- Ensure effective coordination between departments and hotel properties.
- Maintain professional conduct, discipline, and service excellence across teams.
- MIS Reporting \& Operational Monitoring
- Review daily MIS reports and operational performance updates.
- Monitor occupancy levels, maintenance status, guest feedback, and operational KPIs.
- Prepare and share operational reports with management.
- Brand \& Property Coordination
- Coordinate with content creators and marketing teams regarding property shoots and promotional activities.
- Ensure all properties maintain ILIF Hotels \& Resorts brand standards and presentation guidelines.
- Garden \& Ambience Management
- Ensure proper maintenance of gardens, lawns, landscaping, and outdoor guest areas.
- Monitor overall property ambience to enhance guest experience.
- Owner \& Client Relationship Management
- Maintain professional relationships with hotel owners, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct operational review meetings and provide regular performance updates.
- Corporate Office Coordination
- Collaborate with reservations, accounts, HR, marketing, procurement, and management teams.
- Ensure implementation of operational SOPs, policies, and company standards across all properties.
- Facilitate smooth communication between property teams and the corporate office.
About Company: ILIF Hotels and Resorts is a hotel chain based in Maharashtra with a network of about 50 franchised and leased hotels, resorts, and vacation properties with approximately 500+ rooms. We operate hotels ranging from upscale to economy. With a sharp aim to cater to vacationers, the chain properties are near sightseeing places.
