Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Home Tutor (Maths, Science, English) based in Patna, serving learners in Gaya and Bodh Gaya. The tutor will conduct individual or small-group sessions at learners’ homes, focusing on building strong conceptual understanding in Mathematics, Science, and English across relevant school-grade levels. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with school curricula, explaining concepts clearly, assigning and checking homework, and preparing students for tests and examinations. The tutor will track student progress, provide regular feedback to parents or guardians, and adjust teaching methods to suit different learning styles. The role also involves maintaining punctuality, professional behavior, and a safe, respectful learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability in Mathematics and Algebra.
• Demonstrated experience in Tutoring and, where applicable, Online Tutoring for school-age learners.
• Excellent Communication skills to explain concepts clearly and interact effectively with students and guardians.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, English, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
• Familiarity with local school curricula and exam patterns for primary and secondary grades.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage diverse learning paces and styles.
• Ability to travel within Patna and nearby areas (Gaya, Bodh Gaya) as required for home sessions.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Maths, Science, and English is highly desirable.
