Head Teacher - Biology & Chemistry (American Curriculum)

**Role Overview** We’re hiring an exceptional Head of Biology \& Chemistry to help build and lead a new American high school offering in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a rare opportunity to help shape an academic program from the ground up \- designing a rigorous, engaging, and tech\-enabled Biology \& Chemistry programs while helping redefine the future of excellent teaching. The head of Biology \& Chemistry will own the end\-to\-end development of the Biology \& Chemistry programs, including curriculum design, instructional approach, assessment, pacing, and teacher support, while also directly teaching one of the courses. This is not a traditional “plug\-and\-play” teaching role. We operate a highly interactive hybrid learning model that combines world\-class remote teachers, in\-class facilitators, and technology\-enabled learning. Note that this role may be remote; relocation is not required. **What You’ll Do** * Design Biology \& Chemistry courses including curriculum (units, lesson plans, assessments, homework, etc.) for Noon’s hybrid teaching platform. We are launching with Grade 9 and 10 in Fall of 2026 so those grade levels will be the immediate priorities between now and August. * Lead, train, and facilitate other Biology \& Chemistry teachers in delivering the content. * Deliver one section of the online Biology or Chemistry lessons (beginning in August) aligned to our curriculum and learning outcomes * Design, adapt, and improve lessons and materials on an ongoing basis * Use EdTech and digital tools to drive engagement, differentiation, and participation * Collaborate with the wider team to refine curriculum, delivery methods, and learning journeys **Must\-Have Requirements** * Experience designing International American high school Science curriculum aligned to CCSS and NGSS standards * Experience designing and/or delivering Science curriculum for students for whom English may be a second language * Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject area, TESOL, CELTA, etc.) * 5\+ Years of experience * Able to work full\-time Sunday to Thursday (GMT \+3\). \[There may be flexibility to work a half\-day Sunday morning \& half\-day Friday if preferable to working Sunday.] * Experience teaching online groups of 5\+ students * Native English speaker from English\-speaking country (e.g., US, UK, South Africa, Australia) * Reliable internet and a professional video setup **Highly Advantageous** * Familiarity with AI or emerging EdTech tools and resources in teaching * Arabic language ability **What We’re Really Looking For** * Someone who feels up for the challenging of designing \& delivering excellent Biology \& Chemistry curriculums for Grade 9 and 10 by August 2026 * Someone who feels comfortable owning Biology \& Chemistry program development, teacher training, and course delivery end\-to\-end. * Someone who is passionate about shaping the future of education and is excited to incorporate cutting\-edge technological tools and methodologies into teaching. **Who This Role Is (and Isn’t) For** * Ideal for: Experienced Head of Sciences in American International schools who wants a challenge, enjoys experimentation, and is motivated by building something new * Not for: Those who rely on rigid methods, or cookie\-cutter delivery * If you’re a motivated self\-starter excited by dynamic environments and unique teaching models, this role is for you. **Other details:** * This role may be remote or hybrid (if the individual is based in KSA). * We are looking for someone who can start immediately. **How to Apply** * If you think this role is for you and want to be part of the transformative education journey at Noon, we would love to hear from you.
