The Problems You’ll Solve
Carta is seeking a versatile storyteller who can translate complex technical concepts and first-party data into compelling narratives that drive conversions through the funnel. You will work across multiple business units to produce high-impact content for various audiences in the private markets ecosystem—including private companies, venture capital firms, private equity firms, private credit firms, and limited partners.
Your main focus will be threefold: Leverage Carta’s proprietary data to produce timely thought leadership and insights stories, support our partner and affiliate networks with strategic collateral, and create and/or localize content for an expanding international audience.
Data-driven thought leadership
- Analyze Carta’s extensive dataset to find unique private market angles, then turn these insights into compelling reports, blog articles, whitepapers, etc.
- Support the full execution of editorial projects—from initial brief creation through to final asset delivery—and ensure all content meets Carta standards.
- Act as an expert storyteller, turning complex themes into engaging content that supports critical business initiatives and serves audience intent.
Alliance marketing support
- Collaborate with Marketing partners to create bespoke content in support of alliance marketing campaigns (with key partners like Morgan Stanley, NYSE, and Vestwell) and business development relationships.
International support
- Collaborate with international teams to understand upcoming content needs and streamline quarterly planning.
- Facilitate the production of content tailored for specific regional markets, ensuring consistency in brand voice and product messaging.
The Team You'll Work With
At Carta, the Communications and Content team plays a vital role in shaping the company’s brand, messaging, and public image. Their responsibilities typically span several key areas including PR, Corporate Communications, Content Marketing, Social Media, Influencer Relations, and Internal Comms. Together this team is Carta’s storytelling engine,responsible for communicating the company’s purpose and impact—both internally and externally—in a clear, compelling, and consistent way that supports business goals and builds trust with stakeholders.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant content writing or content marketing position, ideally within B2B SaaS or private markets.
- Demonstrated ability to turn technical information and proprietary data into authoritative, digestible content for sophisticated audiences.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A portfolio of high-quality work, including long-form content such as whitepapers and comprehensive blog articles.
- Talent for balancing strategic thinking, project management, and execution.
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Asana to maintain editorial calendars and manage cross-functional workflows.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with multiple teams and departments.
- Ability to develop content that resonates with specific regional markets, informed by a practical understanding of localization needs.
- A forward-thinking approach to content strategy and execution, with an interest in leveraging AI tools to streamline production and optimize existing content.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and taking ownership of multi-stage projects.
Salary
Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $91,800 - $108,000. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
