Role Description
This is a part-time, unpaid internship for a Graduate Students – Web Dev Intern at SJA Pathway. In this remote role, the intern will contribute to web development projects by writing and testing code, collaborating with the technical team, and participating in website performance optimization. Additional responsibilities include debugging, maintaining existing systems, and gaining hands-on experience through active project involvement. The position also provides an opportunity to develop a portfolio while working on live projects in an innovative and supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in web development tools and languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic understanding of backend technologies like PHP, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is a plus
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience with frameworks such as React or Angular is an advantage
