**About the Company** Client is a U.S. based technology company specializing in innovative software solutions for enterprise clients. **Position Overview** We are seeking a capable and motivated Google Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions on GCP as part of our client delivery teams. You have moved past the fundamentals and are ready to take on greater ownership — contributing meaningfully to architecture decisions, driving automation, and mentoring junior engineers. In this role, you will work closely with senior cloud engineers and software developers to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. This is the ideal next step for a cloud engineer looking to deepen their expertise and grow toward a senior\-level role. **Responsibilities** * Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions * Develop and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure\-as\-code pipelines for cloud environment provisioning * Collaborate with development teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines on GCP using Cloud Build or similar tools * Implement and maintain cloud security controls, IAM policies, and compliance configurations * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency * Support client onboarding and cloud migration initiatives under senior engineer guidance * Review and provide feedback on junior engineers' infrastructure code and configurations * Document cloud architectures, deployment processes, and operational runbooks **Requirements** * Strong English language written and oral communication skills. * 3–5 years of hands\-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in a professional setting * Solid working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure\-as\-code * Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (GKE preferred) * Understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, VPC design, and security controls * Proficiency with scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation tasks **Preferred Qualifications** * Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification (Professional\-level preferred or in progress) * Experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, or Pub/Sub) * Exposure to Firebase or serverless architectures on GCP * Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Cloud Monitoring, Grafana, Datadog) * Experience in a consulting, agency, or multi\-client environment * Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and performance\-based incentives * Premium workspace * Clear career growth pathways with access to certifications and professional development * A collaborative, inclusive culture where ideas at every level are valued * Opportunity to work on innovative, AI\-forward software projects across multiple domains * Premium tools * Creative workspace * Portfolio building
