**Global Sales Manager (Player** ‑ **Coach) — Licensed \& Imprintable Apparel**   📍 Toronto, Canada \| 🌎 North America \+ UK Focus  💼 Independent Contractor \| Commission\-Based  \*\*\*Remote Position\*\*\* **About Gelco Textiles**   Gelco Textiles is an upstream, B2B apparel supply company focused exclusively on building  **category** ‑ **defining garment systems**  for the licensed and imprintable apparel market.  We don’t sell retail.  We don’t create consumer demand.  We design products that make  **downstream selling easier, repeatable, and scalable**  for licensors, decorators, and distributors.  Our approach is disciplined and pull‑based— **we enable demand that already exists.**   **The Opportunity**   We are hiring a  **Global Sales Manager based in Toronto**  to lead expansion of our 2Tone system across  **Canada, the United States, and (optionally) the UK** .  This is a  **player** ‑ **coach role** :  * ✔️ You will  **sell directly through your own relationships** * ✔️ You will  **build, lead, and manage independent sales reps** You are not inheriting a system—you are helping  **scale a proven category** .    **Non** ‑ **Negotiable Requirements**   You must bring  **existing, active relationships**  in:  * ✅  **Pro sports licensing** * ✅  **College licensing (CLC, Learfield, IMG, etc.)** * ✅  **Large decorators / screen printers** AND:  * ✅ Proven  **sales relationships across both Canada and the USA** * ✅ Direct experience in the  **pro \& collegiate fanwear industry** If these relationships aren’t current—you won’t be effective in this role.  **Strong Advantages (Nice to Have)**   * Direct relationships with  **sports licensors** * Direct relationships with  **distributors** * Exposure to or relationships in the  **UK market**   **What You’ll Do**   ***Sell (Player)*** * Drive immediate revenue through  **existing relationships** * Place  **qualified pilot programs**  (not speculative selling) * Expand into  **repeat and reorder business** ***Lead (Coach)*** * Recruit and manage  **independent regional reps** * Guide account strategy and program placement * Build a disciplined, high‑performance rep network ***Steward the Category*** * Protect positioning in the  **fanwear ecosystem** * Maintain feedback loops on sell‑through and adoption * Contribute to  **future category expansion**   **What Success Looks Like**   * High‑quality program placements * Strong reorder velocity * Distributor confidence * Rep network productivity * Scalable, repeatable growth Not vanity metrics.
