Role Description This is a Freelance Tele Calling role that is fully remote. The Tele Caller will engage with prospective and existing customers over phone calls to introduce Tilak Marble’s products, understand project requirements, and provide basic information on available materials and services. Daily tasks include making outbound calls, responding to inbound inquiries, collecting customer details, updating call records, and scheduling follow-ups. The role also involves coordinating with the sales team for qualified leads, sharing call feedback, and supporting customer communication to help maintain strong client relationships. Freelance Tele Callers are expected to manage their own schedules, meet agreed call and conversion targets, and maintain professional, courteous communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with clear and professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to handle outbound and inbound calls, manage follow-ups, and maintain accurate call logs and customer records.
- Basic knowledge of sales and customer service practices, including lead qualification and relationship building.
- Comfort using phones, messaging apps, and basic computer tools (spreadsheets, CRM or call-tracking software is an advantage).
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote freelance capacity.
- Prior tele calling, telesales, or customer support experience, preferably in construction materials, interiors, or related sectors, is an advantage.
- Good command of English and Hindi; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Minimum high school education; higher education in business, marketing, or communications is beneficial but not mandatory.
