Financial Controller

A leading, global, private equity\-backed organisation within the industrial sector is seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller. This is a highly visible and influential role, partnering closely with operational leaders to drive performance, improve profitability, and support sustainable growth across a portfolio of multi\-site business units. 💼 The Role * Lead financial reporting across multiple business units (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) * Act as a key business partner to General Managers, providing insight and strategic guidance * Drive commercial initiatives, including pricing, margin improvement, and cost control * Strengthen financial controls, governance, and balance sheet integrity * Improve cash flow and working capital performance * Lead process improvements and promote operational excellence * Manage and develop a direct report 🎯 About You * Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) * 3–5 years’ post\-qualified experience * Strong background in multi\-site or multi\-entity environments * Commercially astute with excellent business partnering skills * Proactive, hands\-on, and confident in influencing senior stakeholders * Advanced Excel skills (experience with Hyperion advantageous) * Experience improving processes and internal controls * Home\-based, ideal location would be Northamptonshire or Warwickshire but must be willing to travel across the UK \& Ireland
