Are you ready to take on a broad and senior finance role in an international and project driven environment?
We are now looking for a skilled and proactive Financial Controller to join our finance team in Solna. In this role, you will work closely with both the accounting and controlling teams and take ownership of financial controlling, project accounting, IFRS related reporting, and support towards several international entities within the SSC Space group.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on accounting work with analytical finance responsibilities, while collaborating with stakeholders across different countries and business areas.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Solid experience within accounting and financial controlling.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, preferably including IFRS 15.
- Experience working in an international environment with multiple entities.
- Experience collaborating with external auditors, accounting firms, or tax advisors.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
- Comfortable taking ownership and driving work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial controlling activities in close collaboration with the accounting and controlling teams.
- Take responsibility for Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations for customer projects.
- Follow up and ensure compliance with IFRS 15 related to project revenue recognition.
- Act as the Senior Company Accountant for SSC Space Australia and serve as the main contact towards local accounting firms and external auditors. Prepare financial statements, accruals, and provisions. Reconcile current tax and deferred tax.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as well as external auditors and tax advisors.
