Financial Accountant

**Financial Accountant \| Consumer Industry (Drinks) \| £45,000\-£50,000 (depending on experience) \+ bonus \| South West London (3 days in office) \| Permanent role** JasperRose are partnering with an award\-winning, luxury drinks business (FMCG) that is looking to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis, based in their London Head Office (hybrid working). This is an opportunity to work for a market\-leading business in their industry, with a turnover of £125 million with plans to grow a further 10% this year. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a newly created role due to growth, where you will be operating as the number two to the Financial Controller. You will be owning areas of the month\-end and year\-end as as well as driving improvements across their cashflow forecasting and automating the financial controls environment. Responsibilities include: * Supporting with the consolidation of the group accounts in accordance with UK GAAP * Leading on month\-end accounting including balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register * Playing a key part in the production of VAT returns * Working with the Financial Controller to drive process improvement in their cashflow forecasting and managing FX * Managing the stock accounting process * Driving process improvement across the group including looking at ways to automate processes **What they are looking for** * Part Qualified ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA or Finalist level * Experience playing a key part in month\-end and year\-end, strong balance sheet reconciliation knowledge is essential * Consumer industry experience including stock accounting is desirable * Proven experience of improving existing processes and a desire to drive change is key * Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and v lookups) is essential * A can do attitude and a desire to learn and develop in this role is key In return for your hardwork, you will be rewarded by working in an extremely credible finance team and great benefits including a generous bonus scheme.
