Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Finance Assistant
to join its finance team in
Dubai
. This position is ideal for an individual with a good understanding of basic accounting and financial administration who can support daily finance activities, maintain accurate records, and assist the accounting team with routine transactions. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient financial operations and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the finance team with daily accounting and administrative activities.
- Record financial transactions accurately in accounting and ERP systems.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Support bank reconciliations and assist in identifying transaction discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, expenses, and receipts.
- Verify financial documents and ensure required approvals are obtained.
- Assist with tracking outstanding payments and receivables.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and account summaries.
- Assist with VAT and tax-related documentation as required.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial records.
- Assist senior accountants during audits by preparing supporting documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information.
- Perform other finance-related administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax procedures is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
