Field Engineer

**Role: Structural Field Engineer \- Bethune, SK** **Location:** Bethune, SK **Term:** Contract. 12 months high likelihood of extension. **Type:** On\-site. Bethune. **Rate: Hourly** **JOB DESCRIPTION** Insight Global is looking for a Structural Field Engineer to support a large scale Ramp Up construction program entering active site execution on a 12\-month contract with a high likelihood of extension. This role will be site based located in Bethune, Sk and focused on field engineering, construction verification, and engineering sign off activities. They will support coverage through the 2026 construction season by working shifts with another engineer back to back to provide seven day per week site coverage. Following completion of the 2026 concrete program, the remaining engineer is expected to transition to a 4 days on, 3 days off rotation. Rotation structure is negotiable. This role will support heavy civil and structural construction activities and will interface closely with site construction teams, quality, project controls, contract administration, and external engineering partners. **REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** • Professional Engineer designation in Canada with ability to apply an engineering seal • 8\+ years experience supporting mining, or heavy industrial construction projects • Exposure to concrete, steel and building finishing (ex: cladding and roofing) **NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** • Prior site based Resident Engineer or Field Engineer experience • Strong understanding of construction documentation and permit close out requirements • Hands on experience responding to RFIs during construction • Experience working on Canadian projects under CSA codes • Experience interfacing with project controls and contract administrators • Mechanical or electrical field engineering exposure for future program phases
