Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a detail\-oriented and dependable Accountant with 1–5 years of experience to manage day\-to\-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, invoicing, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and vendor/client accounting processes.
The candidate should be well\-organized, capable of meeting deadlines, and able to work efficiently in a fast\-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting \& Bookkeeping
* Maintain accurate accounting records and day\-to\-day bookkeeping.
* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, and reconciliations.
* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
* Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
GST \& TDS Compliance
* Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within timelines.
* Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and timely TDS filings.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
* Coordinate with consultants/auditors during audits and assessments.
* Maintain records related to tax filings and compliance documentation.
Invoicing \& Financial Coordination
* Generate invoices and ensure timely billing to clients.
* Follow up on payments and outstanding receivables.
* Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
* Support month\-end and year\-end closing activities.
* Assist management with financial reports and MIS preparation.
Desired Candidate Profile
* 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
* Good knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and accounting principles.
* Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
* Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting tools is essential.
* Experience working in consulting, professional services, or corporate environments will be an advantage.
