Role Overview,
The ER Nurse at Even Hospitals is responsible for providing immediate, specialized care to patients of all ages with acute illnesses or injuries. In our multispecialty environment, you will collaborate with various departments to stabilize patients and facilitate their transition to definitive care.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Triage \& Assessment
* Emergency Interventions
* Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as directed by physicians.
* Perform or assist in life\-saving procedures: intubation, defibrillation, chest tube insertion, and suturing.
* Manage advanced equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and portable X\-ray/ultrasound coordination.
* Multispecialty Coordination
* Coordinate with the Cath Lab for ST\-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) patients.
* Activate "Code Blue" or "Stroke Code" protocols according to hospital standards.
* Prepare and stabilize patients for emergency surgery or transfer to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
* Documentation \& Compliance
* Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) of all treatments, patient responses, and physician orders.
* Ensure compliance with Medico\-Legal Case (MLC) protocols, especially in trauma or assault cases.
* Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards.
**Required Qualifications \& Skills**
**Education : Bsc Nursing / GNM**
**Licensure : Karnataka State Council registered Nurse**
* Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) are mandatory.
**Preferred Certs**
**PALS**
(Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and
**CEN**
(Certified Emergency Nurse).
**Experience:**
2\- 7 years of experience in an ER or high\-acuity Critical Care setting.
