**Title**
: Engineering Analyst
**Location:**
North York (Preferred) or Chatham, ON
**Schedule:**
Hybrid (Mon/Tue/Thu on\-site; Wed/Fri WFH)
**The Opportunity**
This is a pivotal role for an engineering professional to safeguard the reliability and safety of critical natural gas infrastructure. You will drive the success of an Enhanced Distribution Integrity Management Program (EDIMP), ensuring that complex assets are compliant, efficient, and fit for service within a leading energy firm.
**What You’ll Do**
* **Program Development:**
Develop and execute comprehensive integrity plans for EDIMP assets, ensuring full compliance with CSA Z662 and provincial regulatory standards (OEB, TSSA).
* **Risk Assessment:**
Identify and prioritize hazards by analyzing asset conditions, operating practices, metallurgy, and corrosion data to determine fitness for service.
* **Strategic Collaboration:**
Partner with internal stakeholders to build risk mitigation strategies and provide technical inputs for advanced risk modeling.
* **Continuous Improvement:**
Optimize program documentation and processes based on internal assessments, external validations, and management reviews.
* **Technical Reporting:**
Prepare and present high\-profile technical materials and integrity assessments to support distribution asset safety and reliability.
**What You Bring**
**Must\-haves:**
* **Education:**
University degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or Civil preferred).
* **Experience:**
3–7 years of experience in pipeline engineering, integrity management, or gas transmission/distribution operations.
* **Technical Knowledge:**
Strong understanding of pipeline design, construction practices, and non\-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
* **Data Proficiency:**
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform mass data processing or basic coding/scripting.
* **Compliance:**
Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract for occasional site visits.
* **Communication:**
Exceptional presentation and communication skills for engaging in high\-profile meetings.
**Nice\-to\-haves:**
* **Credentials:**
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status in Ontario or a Canadian jurisdiction.
* **Advanced Education:**
A Master’s degree in Engineering.
* **Diverse Experience:**
Exposure to facility integrity, such as tank farms or station operations.
