Engineer I - Planning

***Petrofac is currently looking to recruit an Engineer I \- Planning to be based in Site, Abu Dhabi, UAE*** **What We Do** **Petrofac is a leading international service provider to the energy industry, with a diverse client portfolio including many of the world’s leading energy companies.** We design, build, manage and maintain infrastructure for the energy industries. Our comprehensive and tailored service offering covers each stage of the project life cycle and a variety of commercial models, giving our clients the flexibility, they need. **Primary Duties** Develop \& update various project monitoring packages viz level 3 schedules, progress measurement system, project reporting systems and invoicing systems etc.  Assimilate scope of work and conceive the project in terms of schedule.  Assist engineering \& procurement disciplines in preparing micro schedule for technical document register deliverables \& procurement tracking register milestones schedules and provide input as required. Prepare the construction activities schedule in consultation with the construction team  Timely issue of quality project planning deliverables \& progress reports.  Monitor the work in progress with respect to the approved schedules/milestones and prepare weekly/ monthly progress reports.  Review proposals from subcontractors on project execution and schedule.  Keep PCM \& Lead planning engineer appraised of the status/ constraints.  Responsible for preparation and updating the commodity release plan/ curve.  Identify and communicate potential schedule constraints to proposal team to ensure bid clarifications.  Analyse and communicate to the Lead project control engineer/ Project Manager on observation of any instance across disciplines for any major variance between the actual work in progress and the approved schedules.  Post award review the contract for schedule and commercial parameters to validate/ compare with the original submitted documents.  Participate in department development activities for continual improvement in the project control system \& services.  Assist Sr Planning engineer in schedule assurance and risk analysis process  Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the HOD. **Minimum Requirements** Graduate Engineer with a minimum experience of 6\-7 years. Having experience in project controls. knowledge of Primavera and Engineering deliverable monitoring and procurement activities progress monitoring. Additional Information
